Youth Worker vacancy
We are recruiting a Youth Worker to join our team committed to building community with children, young people, and families in Mildmay which is near Dalston, an area with a wide ethnic diversity where Islington and Hackney meet.

The role would be to lead our weekly youth drop-in on a Thursday evening, currently attracting around fifteen young people in Years 7-9. This drop-in is providing a safe space to socialise, play games and share food together. We would also like to provide a twice monthly Sunday programme for our youth, where they can explore questions of faith, experience God’s love and grow in relationship with Him. In addition to these two main responsibilities, we would also like the youth worker to support the work of the after-school drop-in, also on a Thursday, which currently attracts around twenty to thirty children each week, along with their parents and carers. There is a particular need to provide games and perhaps a drama workshop, to work alongside the craft activities and play activities.
